The project occupies the rectangular plot between party walls, being organized in two strips, on the one hand, one corresponding to the great rooms and classrooms, and, at the other hand, a band of services and spaces of vertical and horizontal communication. Between these two, the setback of both facades to formalize patios of great space and light richness, contributes to enhance the verticality of the facades, which is reinforced by the system of vertical slats designed for providing sun and visual protection.
The structure is a conventional one of steel frames, with hollow-core slabs, being able to cover the light of 12m without intermediate elements of support in the band of the great rooms. In the rest of the project the typology of hollow-core slabs is maintained, providing the whole of a compositional, constructive and structural unit.
Towards the main façade, the setback of the ground floor blows up the four upper floors of the building, using diagonals and crosses of triangulated stiffening in the boxes of the affected metal frames. These triangulations are used to remove two supports from the main portico and to achieve a hall with a greater transparency and architectural quality.
